Training for consumer goods teams: promoters ready for every launch

The short answer

How to train promoters and field teams in consumer goods

In FMCG training, content is rarely the problem. The problem is getting every launch, promotion or display change on time to promoters and reps spread across modern trade and traditional trade, with no computer, often no corporate email and far from their supervisor.

Simón handles promoter training in three steps: it turns the launch material into 60-to-90-second micro-lessons, takes them to each person's phone browser, where they sign in with a phone number or employee ID and a PIN, and shows you who finished and who understood on the first try, by area and by person.

The result is an execution standard that doesn't depend on constant in-person supervision: the whole team gets the same message on the same day, and you know where to reinforce.

Modern and traditional trade

From launch to shelf, without waiting for the supervisor's visit

A promoter covers several stores a day. With Simón, the sales pitch, the correct display and the mechanics of each promotion reach their phone between one visit and the next.

On routes where the signal drops, video is short and compressed for slow networks, and progress is kept even if the connection fails: it syncs on its own when it comes back.

  • Sign-in with a phone number or employee ID and a PIN, ideal for agency promoters and temporary staff.
  • A registration link or QR code per area, so each person lands in their zone or route from day one.
  • Your logo and colors in the app, so the team recognizes the program as your own.

What Simón solves in every commercial cycle

Launches that land the same day

You publish the launch course and everyone in the selected areas gets a notice in the app. A standalone video, carousel or infographic can be scheduled for the exact launch date and time.

Your trade deck, turned into a course

Upload the launch PDF or slide deck and Simón writes the micro-lessons, the avatar video, the infographics and the review questions. Your team approves before publishing.

Promotion changes without starting over

When you update a published course, Simón asks for a redo only of what materially changed, and only from people who had already completed it. Everyone else keeps their progress.

Evidence from the shelf

Photo activities that Simón evaluates with AI against a rubric and up to three reference images, such as your planogram. Your team reviews the unclear cases.

Supervisors with their team in view

Each supervisor sees who is moving, who stalled and which questions their people miss, and gets a daily summary at 6 p.m. If they also work a route, they see their team from the app.

Peer ranking

Points for every completed lesson and a leaderboard among peers in the same area. You decide whether to turn it on.

Evidence from the shelf

See how the display turned out, without waiting for the visit

The promoter uploads a photo of the display and Simón evaluates it against your rubric and up to 3 reference images. Your team can review any evaluation and change the level.

Frequently asked questions about consumer goods training

How do you train point-of-sale promoters without pulling them off their route?

With 60-to-90-second lessons that open on the phone between one store and the next. You publish the course to the areas you choose and see who finished it and who understood it, with no meetings or classrooms.

Does it work for agency or temporary promoters without corporate email?

Yes. Each person signs in from the phone's browser with their phone number or an ID you define, such as the employee number, and a 4-digit PIN. No corporate email and no app to download.

Does it work in traditional trade, with a weak signal?

Yes: video is short, compressed and optimized for slow networks, and if the connection drops, progress is saved on the phone and sent when the signal returns.

How do I know whether the promoter applied what they learned in the store?

With practical activities inside the lesson: a photo of the display or a voice note with the sales pitch, which Simón evaluates with AI against a rubric. Your team can review any evaluation and change the level.

Which companies already train with Simón?

Among them, The Coca-Cola Company, Nestlé, MARS Pet Nutrition, La Moderna, Berel and Maja. In the demo we show you the program built with the material for your next launch.
